He reached two ATP World Tour Finals, amassed singles wins over former number one ranked player in the world & Australian Open/US Open Champion, Marat Safin and ATP Finals Champion Grigor Dimitrov. He represented India as their number one singles player in the prestigious Davis Cup and competed at all of the four majors in the sport. Prior to turning professional, Prakash led USC as a freshman to an NCAA title, earning himself MVP honors in the finals.
Known as one of the premier sports presenters in the world for his sport (covered Wimbledon for BeIN Sports in the Middle East as well as for Star Sports in India), he is now one of the lead faces for the world’s largest Tennis network, Tennis Channel (70 million homes in the U.S.). On the network, he is known for his humorous personality, quick wit, and unique close relationship with the players. He has produced and starred in two different multi-season spanning series for the network as well, Prakash Worldwide & No Limit: NYC, a Prakash Worldwide Series. Over the last four years, no one in the tennis world has had more one-on-one interviews with the top names in the game. In 2022, his analyst/interview coverage alone (not including other series and content produced and starring in) amassed over 10 million unique viewer impressions. He is also the first and only American of Indian descent to headline coverage for a sporting major in any sport in the U.S.
Prakash is also well known in the fitness space. He was a contributor to GQ India for over 2.5 years, with the magazine featuring him and his “What’s Your Code” philosophy in a double page spread in each issue. During the period in which Prakash wrote for and created digital video content for GQ India, it rose to the number two most successful GQ in the world, only behind the U.S.
Prakash also brings his multifaceted talents to the hosting/MC world. He was the Master of Ceremonies for the highest profile pre-US Open event, the Taste of Tennis, in 2022 and again in 2023. The 2022 event saw Prakash hosting a fireside chat with Venus and Serena Williams and Michelin star chef Emma Bengston, followed by a 1,000 person event where Prakash was on stage with two Michelin star chefs and Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios in a cooking competition for the ages.
A gifted inspirational/motivational speaker, Prakash was brought up to Vancouver by the prestigious Laver Cup to speak to a large group of children who were aspiring to become ball boys at the event as a part of community outreach. Prakash has spoken at various universities including USC to spread his uplifting message of positivity to the next generation so that they may achieve their greatest selves.
Also an actor and producer, Prakash began his acting career opening NBC’s famed comedy showcase, and went on to act alongside Jamie Dornan, Ben Mendelsohn, and Billy Crystal in Untogether, which received a Spotlight World Premier at the Tribeca Film Festival. Prakash is next slated to play the lead in an international espionage feature film franchise set in the sports world, as well as several other high profile projects. Prakash is the President of Sterling Road Films, a film production and finance company that focuses on aspirational storytelling with global appeal. Prakash will serve as Executive Producer on the feature film adaptation of one of the greatest novels in history, The Alchemist.
