Max Domi

Max Domi is a Canadian professional hockey player, playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Dallas Stars free agent agreed to a one-year deal with the Leafs on July 2, 2023. Max was originally selected 12th overall in the 2013 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes. He made his NHL debut with the Coyotes on October 9, 2015 and went on to rank third in scoring among all rookies that season. Before playing for the Stars, Max spent time with the Montréal Canadiens, Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes, and Chicago Blackhawks.

He is a Type 1 diabetic, diagnosed at the age of twelve, and author of No Days Off: My Life with Type 1 Diabetes and Journey to the NHL. Max’s father, Tie Domi, is a former professional hockey player, known for his role as an enforcer, who also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as the New York Rangers and Winnipeg Jets.
