Marcel Reece is a college football analyst for Big Ten Network. Previously, he was an analyst for NFL Network and served as an analyst on several shows for the network. He also appeared as an analyst on All AXS TV’s Fantasy Football show. A proud veteran of the Las Vegas Raiders and fan favorite of Raider Nation, Marcel joined the silver and black as a Special Advisor in 2020. He quickly rose through the ranks of the front office and within just a couple years working alongside owner Mark Davis, Marcel became the Senior Vice President of the organization. In 2023, Marcel decided to leave his post with the team to spend more time with his wife and kids. He looks forward to remaining close with the Raiders organization and NFL through community initiatives, media and broadcasting work, and occasional appearances.
A graduate of the University of Washington, Marcel joined the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He spent the next eight seasons in Oakland distinguishing himself as one of the league’s most versatile fullbacks. In 2016, Marcel spent his final season in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks. Over the course of his career, Marcel racked up 844 total rushing yards and three touchdowns on 185 carries. Always dangerous out of the backfield, he also hauled in 210 passes for 2,088 yards and 12 receiving touchdowns.
Far from being just a football guru, Marcel is also a king of cuisine, displaying his culinary talents on the Food Network, where he has appeared on programs such as Guy’s Grocery Games and more.
He currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with his family.
