Kenley Jansen

Kenley Jansen is a highly accomplished MLB closer for the Boston Red Sox. Kenley’s professional journey began in 2004 when he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers organization as a catcher. After transitioning to the pitcher’s mound in 2009, he quickly emerged as a dominant force. Throughout his tenure with the Dodgers, Jansen established himself as one of the game’s premier closers, earning accolades and setting records. With the Dodgers, Kenley’s performances earned him multiple All-Star appearances. He played an integral role in the Dodgers’ success from 2013-2020, helping lead them to multiple deep playoff runs and a World Series victory in 2020.

After a successful tenure with the Dodgers, Kenley joined the Atlanta Braves on a one-year deal in 2022, bringing his experience and leadership to the team. His presence in the Braves’ bullpen strengthened their pitching staff and added a level of confidence and reliability. He led the NL in saves and, in 2023, Kenley achieved another significant milestone by joining the prestigious 400 save club. This accomplishment came as a member of the Boston Red Sox, further cementing his legacy as one of the greatest closers in MLB history.
