Jay Glazer serves as the NFL Insider for FOX Sports’ award-winning NFL pregame show, FOX NFL Sunday, where he breaks in with exclusives, late-breaking updates and injury news, and other various reports right up until the start of Sunday’s games and all the way through FOX’s Sunday coverage.
Glazer and the entire cast and show were inducted into the TV Hall Of Fame in 2018.
Glazer has established a reputation for breaking major stories in the NFL all year round. He prides himself on loyalty, a tenacious work ethic and accurate reporting, traits that have helped bolster him to the next level of NFL reporting and has made Glazer a “go-to” source for news and information.
In January 2022, Glazer released the book, Unbreakable: How I Turned My Depression and Anxiety Into Motivation and You Can Too. With his book and voice, Jay became a voice for many struggling with mental health issues.
In September 2022, iHeartMedia and Fox Sports Radio launched Jay’s podcast, Unbreakable with Jay Glazer: A Mental Wealth Podcast. Glazer shares his personal mental health journey with audiences, including the tools and techniques he’s developed to “fight the gray” and “live in the blue “ – his phrases for living and thriving with anxiety, depression and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
Glazer is an incredibly passionate and pioneer voice in the world of mixed martial arts. He was the first host of a national MMA Show in America when he hosted The Pride Fighting Championships and was a longtime studio host for UFC and Bellator. His passion for the sport goes way beyond broadcasting as Jay even fought twice professionally in 2003 then began a long coaching career where he, along with Randy Couture, created the first MMA training program for pro athletes and coached numerous NFL teams such as the Falcons, Saints, Rams, Browns at their facilities and hundreds more at the training center he opened in West Hollywood, Unbreakable. He still trains professional athletes in MMA. In addition to sports, Glazer also got many Hollywood stars such as Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Demi Lovato, and The Jonas Brothers among many others to begin their amazing MMA training journey.
On the entertainment side, Glazer has starred in multiple TV shows, including all five seasons of the HBO hit Ballers.
He has also had spots on The League on FX, hosted the season finale of Wicked Tuna for National Geographic, and hosted the 100th episode of Pitbulls and Parolees on Animal Planet.
He is a natural in front of the camera, allowing his fun, outgoing and unique personality to shine through on the biggest of stages.
With all of his accomplishments, Glazer is most proud of the charitable organizations he founded: Touchdown Dreams and Merging Vets & Players (MVP).
With Touchdown Dreams, Glazer matched NFL players and coaches with children fighting potentially terminal diseases.
MVP works to match former combat veterans and former professional athletes to help each other through the transition into their new lives away from the battlefields and playing fields. MVP has locations in several cities and regularly hosts workouts and counseling sessions for the members of MVP both in person and virtually.
