Greg Anthony spent 12 years in the NBA, 10 of those years playing for the New York Knicks. His cerebral two-way point guard play and fierce competitiveness made him a perfect fit in Coach Pat Riley’s hard-nosed defense-first system. He now serves as an NBA analyst for Turner Sports and NBA TV and as a co-host for SiriusXM’s NBA Radio.

Anthony also serves as one of the featured voices in the NBA2K video game franchise.

Upon retirement from the NBA, Anthony began his broadcasting career at ESPN covering the NBA on both ESPN and ABC. In 2008, he moved over to CBS Sports to become a college basketball analyst. In 2014, Anthony was made the lead college basketball analyst for CBS Sports’ college basketball coverage, including the NCAA March Madness Tournament and Final Four. He also served as the color commentator for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2012-13 season.

During his career in the NBA, Anthony had the reputation of being an excellent, relentless defender. Anthony was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 1991 NBA Draft and also drafted in the inaugural expansion draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies with the first pick. In addition to his long-lasting NBA career, Anthony attended Portland, and more notably UNLV, where he won an NCAA championship in 1990 and had his #50 jersey retired by the program.

He is a founding member of Sports Venture Partners (currently Granite Hall Ventures), which he formed in 2000. In 2019, Anthony joined the Board of Directors of Altitude International, Inc., while also taking on the role of one of the company’s top sales executives.

Anthony, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, now resides in Delray Beach, Florida.
