At 17 years old, he was drafted by the Miami Marlins, making his MLB debut on June 8, 2010. During his eight years with the Marlins, Stanton hit 267 home runs, won the MVP in 2017, finished as the runner-up in 2014, and signed what was at the time, one of the biggest guaranteed contracts in the history of sports. In 2017, Stanton parlayed a historic 59 home run season into the National League’s Most Valuable Player.
Following his MVP season in 2017, Stanton was traded to the New York Yankees where he has captivated fans with his clutch performances and unparalleled skill.
