Emma Coburn

Emma Coburn is a 10x U.S. steeplechase champion, world champion and 3x Olympic Finalist. A 2016 Rio Olympic Games bronze medalist, Emma is the first American woman to medal in steeplechase. Emma attended the University of Colorado, where she qualified for her first Olympic team while still in college. A lifelong Colorado resident, Emma volunteers with Living Journeys Cancer Foundation and created her own Elk Run 5K, which donates proceeds to Living Journeys. A unique and inspirational duo, Emma’s husband, Joe, is also her coach. Emma is an avid baker and loves to spend downtime in the kitchen with Joe. She released her own cookbook, The Runner’s Kitchen, in 2020.
