Chris Harris Jr. is a Super Bowl champion and 4x Pro Bowl cornerback who most recently played for the New Orleans Saints.

From an early age it was clear that Chris was a natural-born athlete. As a student at Bixby High School, Chris earned all-state honors in both football and basketball, while also earning varsity letters in track. Chris’s passion and talent in football led him to a decorated career at the University of Kansas. While attending college and playing football at KU, Chris had one of the most successful football careers the school had ever seen. Chris served as team captain his senior year, led the team to an Orange Bowl victory and earned Defensive Back of the Year honors. By the end of his college career, Chris landed himself at No. 2 on the Kansas football all-time tackles list. In 2018, he was inducted into KU’s Ring of Honor.

Although Chris was not selected in the 2011 NFL Draft, he refused to let his dreams die. His innate instincts on the football field combined with his never quit work ethic eventually earned him a spot with the Denver Broncos. Chris immediately had an impact on the Broncos defense, concluding his rookie season being voted on Denver’s All-Rookie Team, Breakout Player of the Year and Overachiever of the Year. The next few seasons Chris put up elite numbers, aligning him with the best defensive backs in the NFL. In 2014, Chris didn’t allow a single touchdown, nicknaming his side of the field the “No Fly Zone.” He was also voted best cornerback in the NFL by the sports statistics agency Pro Football Focus, which earned him 2015 All Pro. Chris has since made four Pro Bowl appearances.

It was during the 2015 season that Chris transformed himself and solidified his reputation as one of the top corners in the game, meticulously destroying opposing offenses. Chris battled a severe shoulder injury the entire season but was determined to compete in the playoffs, committing to a rigorous daily rehab program. After a long, grueling 2015 NFL season, Chris’s hard work paid off when the Broncos were named Super Bowl champions, a game that was dominated by the “No Fly Zone.”

Off the field, Harris enjoys giving back to his community and started the Chris Harris Jr. Foundation to support children in need.
