Carolyn Manno is a reporter and host at CNN, host of American Kennel Club’s digital streaming platform, AKC TV, as well as a host for NBC Sports’ Olympic, Paralympic, and college basketball coverage. She also occasionally appears on NBC 4 New York as a news and sports anchor.
Manno’s many career highlights include serving as a reporter for NBC’s Super Bowl XLIX pregame show and NBC’s Football Night In America. She also hosted NBCSN’s NASCAR America and was a freestyle skiing reporter at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. In addition, Manno has hosted studio coverage for multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, served as a sports desk reporter at the 2012 London Olympics, and has worked on college football, college basketball, cycling, and the Dew Tour.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Manno also spent time as an anchor/reporter for Comcast SportsNet New England and was a contributor to CSNNE.com. While in Boston, Manno covered the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup and NBA Finals appearances by the New England Patriots, the Boston Bruins, and the Boston Celtics, respectively.
Manno also spent three years in South Bend, Indiana, where she covered the Notre Dame Fighting Irish; the Chicago Bears, Cubs and White Sox; the Indianapolis Colts; and the Indy 500. Manno has earned multiple first place awards from the Associated Press, including an Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Journalism, and an Indiana Spectrum Award for journalistic excellence from the Indiana Broadcasters Association.
