This early success laid the foundation for their evolution into iconic roles within the Tyler Perry franchise, most notably as Mr. Brown and Cora, alongside Madea. They've also built their own media and entertainment company, TillyMann Inc., where they provide opportunities for People of Color in front and behind the camera, ultimately employing thousands in entertainment production, leading the way in idea innovation, technology, touring and creating culturally relevant content. Through their work, they have not only showcased their immense talent but also championed diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry, paving the way for future generations.

They're truly a dynamic duo and have garnered many accomplishments as a couple and individually as well. David is a two-time NAACP Image Award-winning actor and comedian and he's now venturing into the world of directing, showcasing his keen eye for storytelling and his ability to bring out the best in his fellow performers. With a list of successful projects to his name, David still finds time to give back to his community through his mental health education efforts alongside the Ad Council and Huntsman Mental Health Institute with his new Mann to Man, Love Your Mind series on MannTV. Tamela has been a transformative figure in the gospel industry and has made history with her countless awards, including Grammy and American Music Awards, and most recently Tamela was recognized as the first artist to score ten No. 1's on the Billboard Gospel Radio Airplay chart. You may know her most for her No. 1 RIAA-Double Platinum certified single "Take Me to The King" and Tamela's authenticity and passion shines through in every performance, touching hearts and inspiring millions along the way. Tamela's impact has gone beyond the stage through her entrepreneurial endeavors in fashion with the Tamela Mann Collection. She's been committed to empowering plus-size women globally with her athleisure line, while providing more employment opportunities for People of Color along the way.

As a married couple of 36 years, they have become a beacon of hope, joy and inspiration, showcasing the beauty of marriage with Christ at the center of their everyday life. In fact, David and Tamela's book and CD, Us Against the World, stands out as a great example of their commitment to inspiring love and marriage in this world, which garnered the prestigious NAACP Image Award. They've also pioneered the highly successful MannTV YouTube channel, where they've created multiple content series to deliver authentic, relevant and entertaining content for families around the world. They've seamlessly blended artistry and partnership, proving that couples can work together, play together, and stay together!
