Taylor Rapp is a safety with the Buffalo Bills and a 2021 Super Bowl champion.
He had an impressive start to his career with the Los Angeles Rams, proving to be an elite safety in the league. In his last two seasons, he has not missed a game and started in every one of them. Rapp had the ultimate season in 2021 when he recorded a career-high of four interceptions and was a key part in securing a Super Bowl victory.
Taylor was born into a diverse family with a Chinese mother from Shanghai and a father who was raised in Canada. While Taylor was young, his parents decided to move him and his brother to the West Coast, specifically Bellingham, Washington. That’s where Taylor scrapped and worked his way to become the player that he was and gain the recruitment he deserved. Rapp decided to stay in his home state, enrolling early at the University of Washington. He played three great seasons there before the Rams selected him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Rapp is a strong advocate for his heritage and is committed to inspiring Asian American kids. He strives to show them that they can play and reach the same heights Rapp has in his career, and he has taken part in activities like visiting elementary schools in LA’s Chinatown. Rapp is also very passionate about cooking and fitness and follows an animal-based diet. In May 2020, Rapp took on the challenge of burning 10,000 calories in a day, which went viral on social media.
