Ryan McMahon

Ryan McMahon, a native of Santa Ana, California, is an infielder for the Colorado Rockies. McMahon was drafted out of Mater Dei High School in the second round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Rockies. He worked his way through the Rockies’ farm system, making the All Star Futures Game in July 2017.

In August of 2017, McMahon was promoted to the major leagues to play first base. He served as the Rockies’ primary first baseman for the 2018 season. In 2019, he made the jump to second base, alternating within the infield, and coming in clutch at bat. In March of 2022, McMahon signed a six-year, $70 million extension with the Rockies and continues to serve as a key figure within the organization. Ryan married his long-time girlfriend, Natalie, in November of 2020.
